Hi, I'm David, and I'm thrilled to be a part of this counseling team, bringing with me years of experience in human services. My journey began as a Protestant minister in South Carolina, where I gained a deep understanding of couples' issues, grief, and life's many challenges. As my career evolved, I made the transition into clinical practice, earning my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, a pivotal moment that marked a successful shift in my career path.

My expertise lies in couples counseling, supported by my Gottman 1 certification. I also work closely with individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, and various other challenges. While my theoretical approach leans towards cognitive behavioral therapy, I'm always open to integrating other methodologies tailored to each client's unique needs. Whether it's positive psychology, dialectical behavioral therapy, or person-centered strategies, I adapt to ensure the best possible outcomes for my clients.

Beyond the office, you'll often find me seeking solace in nature. Whether it's mountain biking in the rugged terrain or hiking through serene landscapes, I find immense joy and peace in the great outdoors. Family is at the center of my life, and I've been married to my wife La'ai for three decades. Together, we're accompanied by our three young adult children, who have joined us in our relocation to the Salt Lake area.

I warmly extend an invitation to embark on a therapeutic journey of self-discovery with me. My mission is to help you find the peace, joy, love, and fulfillment your heart desires. Schedule an appointment today, and together, let's take the first step towards a brighter tomorrow.
