Andrew Lindsay

Andrew specializes in working with children and their parents on a variety of issues. He uses child centered play therapy, child parent psychotherapy and filial therapy in working with children. He recognizes the child-parent relationship as the most important relationship for children and works to build that attachment to parents.

Andrew also works with adults and teens on many issues. The primary modalities he uses are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Self-Compassion and Expressive Arts Therapy. He believes that each client has their own answers within, and loves helping individuals throughout the process of discovering their answers.

Andrew graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University in 2016. He worked for Utah County in the Department of Substance Abuse Treatment for three years, before going back to school. He graduated in 2021 from the University of Utah with a Masters of Social Work.
