I am very excited to be here at Meadowbrook Counseling! I earned my bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, emphasis in Psychology, from Utah Valley University in 2020 and I am currently beginning my final year of graduate school in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University.

My personal philosophy is that therapy is a tool of empowerment and that the process of working through problems with an empathetic counselor can lead clients to new solutions and to new ways of meeting life’s challenges.

My greatest desire as a student counselor is to create a safe space for clients of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. My career as a midwife and my own experience with postpartum depression helped form my interest in maternal mental health, and also helped to focus my energy on trauma-informed practices.

I look forward to becoming certified in EMDR therapy to enhance my trauma training and to accompany my focus on integrated therapies that are person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused.

When I am not delving into counseling interests I love to read mystery novels and watch British comedies. I also love spending time with my family and doing puzzles.
