Meet Rosario Toral, ACMHC, EMDR
As a dedicated Clinical Counselor and a certified Peer Recovery Specialist, Rosario's journey has been shaped by working closely with individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges in both Inpatient and Outpatient Facilities.
Rosario understand firsthand the daily psychological battles nearly one in eight people face, and her own struggles have fueled her life's mission to guide others on their healing journey. Rosario's goal is to provide genuine support and empower individuals with the tools they need to navigate their challenges one step at a time through therapy.
In therapy sessions, Rosario embraces a warm and personalized approach, using various techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She believes in giving clients a voice in their care, recognizing that there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Meeting clients where they are, she addresses the most pressing challenges on the clients unique path to healing.
Rosario's approach each client with genuine care, ensuring a trauma-informed perspective that respects the uniqueness of everyone's experiences. While her clients' stories may share similarities, she understands that the impact of their experiences is deeply personal and varies for each individual.
Her commitment to helping others extends beyond borders, whether she is working with individuals in their local community or in their hometown in the Philippines. Together, she aims to foster understanding, connection, and growth on this therapeutic journey.
