Bruno is a nurse practitioner who has specialized in treating patients with mental health challenges.…
I received two business management degrees from Utah Valley University, a bachelor's degree in nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences, and a master's degree in nursing (family nurse practitioner) from United States University in San Diego, California. Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure of serving psychiatric patients at Salt Lake Behavioral Hospital and Utah Valley Hospital. Connecting with patients, and helping them overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, has changed my life and the lives of my patients. My approach to patient care is heavily geared toward the patient's circumstances and goals. We are all different and unique and treatments should be calibrated accordingly. I seek to utilize all the resources possible to help patients achieve their goals. I'll apply techniques from western medicine and holistic care while implementing evidence-based practice in accordance with the latest literature and research. I look forward to working together to create a bright, hopeful future.

With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Utah and a Master’s in Nursing from Gonzaga University, I bring both rigorous training and heartfelt empathy to every patient interaction. My journey has taken me from surgical trauma units to psychiatric care, and from supporting developmentally delayed individuals with mental illness to serving veterans at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City. These experiences have shaped my trauma-informed approach and reinforced my belief that healing starts with dignity, trust, and collaboration. I am licensed in UT, WA and OR. How I Can Support You: Trauma & PTSD: Evidence-based strategies to reclaim safety and resilience.Anxiety & Depression: Personalized care that honors your unique story.LGBTQIA2S+ Affirming Care: A safe, inclusive space to be your authentic self.Online Opioid Addiction Treatment (MAT): Judgment-free support for recovery and wellness. Fluent in Spanish, I’m deeply committed to culturally sensitive care—especially for marginalized communities often left behind by the system. My philosophy? You’re the expert on your life; I’m here to listen, guide, and empower you—not just treat symptoms. Outside of work, I recharge by coaching sports, exploring Utah’s wild landscapes, and hitting the road with my family (because joy is its own kind of medicine). Let’s build a care plan that fits your strengths, needs, and goals—because you deserve more than a prescription; you deserve a partner in healing.
