Sungah, who goes by Annie, is a dedicated behavioral health therapist committed to providing compassionate therapy services. Whether clients are wrestling with overwhelming anxiety, navigating challenging life transitions, healing from past trauma, or aiming to boost their self-esteem, Annie offers a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.

Annie firmly believes in the innate resilience of each individual and their potential for growth. Lizzie extends a warm welcome and is delighted that you're here. With four years of experience in the mental health field, she has always harbored a deep passion for assisting others. Currently in her second year of the University of Utah's Master of Social Work program, Lizzie has worked with numerous individuals grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, and various life challenges.

Lizzie's favorite aspect of this profession is witnessing clients discover hope and acquire valuable skills to navigate tough situations. She firmly believes in fostering a safe and nurturing environment where clients can freely express themselves and work towards finding their sources of happiness. Lizzie empathizes with the overwhelming and disoriented feelings that life can sometimes bring and genuinely believes in the transformative power of mutual support.

Meet Kristie JensenLCSW, EMDR

Kristie is an eclectic therapist, drawing on and using a flexible and multifaceted approach to therapy that guides in identifying the most effective methods to address each individuals' varying needs, including diagnosis, strengths and goals. She believes that on a foundation built with CBT, DBT and psychoeducation modalities, client's will gain the tools to begin healing, remove barriers and gain a life of empowerment. Kristie is certified in DBT and is also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. She has been trained in EMDR, ERP and Prolonged Exposure therapies, helping those with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, specific phobias, grief and addiction to heal through these difficulties. For over 10 years, Kristie has supported individuals from various walks of life, ages, faiths, cultures and genders. She understands the unique culture of military life.

Kristie enjoys learning who her client's are and sharing a healing journey with them. She empathetically facilitates this journey and enjoys seeing their discovery of something they didn't know they were capable of. Kristie's own life has been a journey of discovery and healing, adding extensive and invaluable life experience to her formal education. One of her greatest gifts is to hold a space of empathy with her client while holding the professional boundaries to not get in their way. Kristie received her Master's Degree from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Families and Children and a sub-concentration in Military Social Work. She was awarded the Utah Department of Corrections Institutional Programming Division Challenge Coin and UDC Certificate of Appreciation. She is the author and co-author of 'Breakthrough Success with Kristie Jensen' published 2021 by Success Publishing. Pain is an inevitable part of the life experience and healing isn't always easy. Josh has extensive training in couples therapy, helping partners break dysfunctional interaction patterns, improve communication, and build healthier, happier, and more secure relationships.

Josh also specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families heal from the impacts of sexual addiction, including shame, betrayal trauma, and infidelity.

Josh integrates therapeutic approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Gottman Levels I and II.

Josh holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Utah State University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Family Life from Brigham Young University.

Amber's primary aspiration is to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental space for clients to openly discuss their experiences and delve into their emotions, ensuring a safe environment for exploration. She incorporates a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and ACT, with a current focus on obtaining certification in EMDR.

Specializing in providing support to individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, self-image concerns, and trauma, Amber also possesses significant experience in aiding survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Her clientele encompasses children, adolescents, and adults, reflecting her versatility as a therapist.

With a foundation in psychology, having earned her bachelor's degree from Utah State University, Amber graduated with her Master of Social Work from the University of Utah. Eager to collaborate with clients in their pursuit of desired goals and overcoming challenges, she looks forward to the opportunity to work together towards achieving meaningful progress.

Latifah Henry, a clinical social worker, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University Los Angeles and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Northern Arizona University, accompanied by a certificate in Domestic Violence. Her journey towards assisting families began as she volunteered in courts and served as a student professional worker at the Santa Monica Courthouse Family Law Department. These early experiences ignited her passion for helping families navigate their challenges.

Throughout her social work career, Latifah has gained extensive experience working in various educational settings, including the SCC Counseling Assistance Program for Students and LAUSD School Mental Health in California. In her therapeutic practice, Latifah skillfully incorporates a range of modalities, including CBT, DBT, play therapy, and EMDR.

Latifah is an empathetic and dedicated clinician who firmly believes in empowering individuals to advocate for themselves, enabling them to lead their best lives. She imparts the wisdom that self-love requires effort, grace, and honesty, coupled with a commitment to learning. Latifah takes pride in walking alongside her clients, meeting them where they are, and encouraging them to embark on the challenging path to healing. Marcie is a dedicated Clinical Social Work intern currently pursuing her master’s degree in social work at the University of Utah. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Utah State University. With years of experience tutoring underprivileged young adults and teens preparing for their GED, Marcie has also worked in a middle school, supporting students with their academics. She has a profound affection for children, teens, and adults and holds a special place in her heart for autistic individuals and their families.

Marcie has extensive experience working with ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. She is passionate about helping others recognize their inherent value and worth.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Marcie briefly lived in Arizona, where she relished the heat, blue skies, and sunshine. In her free time, she loves attending Zumba and hip-hop dance classes. Marcie also enjoys traveling to explore diverse customs, cultures, and communities.

McKaye cannot promise that every issue will be resolved immediately upon entering her office, but she guarantees that each client will feel loved, accepted, and supported. Clients can trust her to be a consistent ally throughout the therapeutic journey. Given time and collaboration, they will progress toward living the life they envision.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Utah Valley University and later completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Utah. She has received certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents, pursued additional training in grief and loss, and employs a range of therapeutic techniques. These include Emotional-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to address challenges like anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and family dynamics.

While she is adept at working with clients of all ages, she feels a special connection to teenagers and young adults. From the outset, she wants her clients to understand that they are not alone—she is an unwavering part of their support system. At times, all someone needs is a little extra support, and she is there to bolster them every step of the way.

Meet Heidi PaceACMHC, EMDR

Heidi Pace has been providing mental health therapy for 3 years in both California and Utah. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Studies and her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University.  She is currently an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (A.C.M.H.C.), working toward her hours for full licensure, to be completed soon. Heidi has completed trainings in the following areas: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Art Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and is the process pursuing trained in EMDR. She is consistently staying up to date on the most recent research and attending training and is passionate about learning and growing. During her time in the field she has gained a significant amount of experience working with various populations, including children, teens, women, LGBTQ population, couples, and those with domestic violence backgrounds. Heidi has worked in a residential treatment center, a death and bereavement center for young children and their families, large therapy organizations, and private practices as well.  Additionally, Heidi specializes in working with complex trauma, PTSD, BPD, and personality disorders, specifially with women and LGBTQ populations. She is passionate about incorporating art therapy, movement therapy, and somatic therapy into the therapeutic process. She deeply believes effective therapy includes a holistic approach. Heidi believes that healing takes place within the therapeutic relationship.  "Once the relationship is secure and safe, the client can begin to open up and heal." In her spare time, Heidi enjoys being outdoors, hiking, running, listening to music, hiking, woodwork, traveling, reading and creating art.

Meet Jacqueline CleghornACMHC, EMDR, Neurofeedback

Life's journey often presents challenges and obstacles that can lead to feelings of being overwhelmed and trapped. Such fears and uncertainties can exacerbate mental health difficulties, affecting one's ability to navigate daily life effectively. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she creates a secure space for individuals to delve deep, pinpoint their goals and strengths, enhance self-awareness, and take constructive steps towards bettering their mental well-being. As a therapist, she is dedicated to empowering individuals to harness coping mechanisms, fostering resilience and equipping them to address challenges and stressors beyond the therapeutic environment.

She employs a trauma-informed approach encompassing EMDR, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, cognitive-behavioral techniques, narrative therapy, psychoeducation, and existential methods to cater to a myriad of client concerns. Holding the belief that clients are the true experts of their own experiences, she tailors her therapeutic style and interventions to align with each client's unique needs.

She has garnered experience working with adults aged 18 and over, addressing issues such as eating disorders, depression, PTSD/trauma, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, addiction, and general stress. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fort Lewis College and is currently advancing her education with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University. As a graduate-level intern, she offers individual counseling sessions both in person and through telehealth platforms. No matter where one might be in their personal journey, she stands ready to assist them in channeling their innate power and making proactive strides towards healing and mental wellness.
