Sometimes the pain and complexities of life can become too much to overcome alone. I believe that the power to overcome and grow from our challenges resides within us all. Sometimes we just need a little help to tap into that power, find solutions, and discover personal meaning so we can overcome and grow from the challenges that life presents. Therapy is one way for us to connect to our inner power and bring us to a place where we can blossom.

I am currently a second-year Master’s level practicum student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology at Utah Valley University.

I have multiple years of experience working in residential treatment with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, self-harm, suicidality, and family relationship issues. In counseling, I employ a client-centered approach, utilizing principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe in a holistic treatment approach to healing and meeting you where you are at in your healing process. I will work with you in a collaborative process to identify your personal strengths and then build off of those areas.

I believe that everyone can experience growth and healing when they feel safe, supported, and connected. I am committed to offering a safe space for you to work through your struggles and begin the healing process.
