Kimberly Schwingle

Hi!  I’m a licensed professional counselor in the state of Wisconsin as well as Nevada. I can’t wait to work with you and develop treatment goals that fit what you’re wanting to work towards.  I received my Master of Professional Counseling from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin where I did my internship in Trauma informed care in residential treatment. I completed my training licensure with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and have practiced in various forms ever since. I’m a big believer in teletherapy because I feel like when you can sit in your safe comfortable space you’re more open and willing to participate in the process.  I’ve worked with several styles of therapy but I describe my style as a holistic approach where I pull parts from different approaches to fit your needs best. I also like to hear your story in your own words. The more honest we can be the better I can assist you. 

I have familiarity and comfort with a whole range of individuals. I’ve worked with all ages but have done most of my work with teen to middle aged adults. I also specialize is those with disabilities as I’ve grown up volunteering and working with in the disability community.  I’ve worked with various diagnoses like depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar, chronic illness, adjustment disorders, avoidance disorder amongst various other things. I also am constantly growing and learning and expanding my skill set so I can continue to help others reach their goals in ways that work for them. I’m excited to see how I can assist you.
