Individuals have an incredible capacity for healing and developing resiliency from painful challenges and trauma. Oftentimes, however, individuals don’t know where to start in the healing process, which can cause anxiety, depression, and even a debilitating sense of hopelessness. Unprocessed trauma can taint our everyday living experiences and sap the joy and fulfillment that we all crave in life. Therapy can be a source of guidance and education to help individuals find and tap into their capacity for healing, hope and resiliency from within.
In collaboration with the client, I work towards developing a therapeutic alliance in a client-centered, strengths-based approach. I seek to empathically empower my clients with evidence-based tools and strategies, based on CBT, TF-CBT, ACT and Motivational Interviewing for achieving the healing and life they desire.
