I believe that healing begins when we are able to reconnect with ourselves and our own embodied wisdom. I see my role not as an expert but as a partner to my clients. Together, we build a relationship where we can develop insight, grow your capacities, and gently tend to the distress you’re experiencing in the present.
In our work, I strive to offer a non-judgmental, kind, and sometimes even funny space, all grounded in trauma-informed care and deep compassion. My practice is a blend of somatic and parts work, and I pull from a variety of other approaches to best support your unique experience. While I have a particular interest in working with adults navigating the impacts of religious trauma, life transitions, and complex relational dynamics, I understand that our healing is never siloed. It’s interwoven with all the other important parts of our lives.
I recognize that the intersection of our identities, privilege, and oppression are fundamental in shaping how we move through the world. I view our work together as a pathway to reconcile your relationship with yourself and to reclaim your right to agency and joy.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Washington and bring a wide range of experience from working alongside individuals and families in various contexts, including healthcare, crisis support, and refugee and immigrant support services. I am currently completing my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) so I can offer this resource to my clients in the future. I am deeply committed to my own lifelong learning and healing work, and I actively seek out opportunities to engage in community-led learning whenever possible.
