I am a dedicated professional passionate about encouraging people and bringing positive change to their lives. My practice utilizes holistic, evidence-based methods that incorporate a mind-body connection approach, with a special focus on nervous system regulation. I believe in looking at the whole person to truly understand my clients' experiences and to best support them on their healing journey.
I am committed to deepening my knowledge and expertise and am pursuing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed yoga therapy, among other modalities. I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strive to build a trusting rapport with each client. My calm demeanor is central to my work, as I aim to provide a compassionate and safe environment for discovery and healing.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho and am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Grand Canyon University. I am committed to continuous professional development, ensuring my practice stays up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in mental health.
My practical experience working with refugees demonstrates my commitment to diversity and inclusion. I have assisted in finding housing for displaced individuals upon their arrival in the community and helped families access vital early education and developmental resources for both children and parents.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband in the mountains, paddleboarding, hiking, and rock climbing. I also enjoy getting creative through baking and slowing down with a good book.
