I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in the state of Washington. I obtained my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Hawaii in Hilo. I have been fortunate in being able to work with a diverse population, including individuals with varying backgrounds. This has led to my being able to work with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, people of color, the LGBTQ+ community, adults of all ages, and people with varying spirituality and religious beliefs. I'm passionate about working with individuals with varying mental health diagnoses, from trauma, addiction, mood disorders, and neurodivergence.

My belief is in a holistic approach that utilizes trauma-informed care to meet clients where they're at in life to foster a strong therapeutic relationship. I emphasize the importance of creating a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment to encourage trust and openness needed for the hard work of therapy. I'm experienced with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and person-centered approaches. I can integrate these approaches in a personalized way to provide support throughout treatment. I value working alongside clients to provide psychoeducation around mental health, encouraging self-awareness and compassion, increasing resilience, building coping skills, and providing advocacy and empowerment.
