Callie is a Mental Health Counseling Intern currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She strives to create a non-judgmental and safe atmosphere where clients can feel comfortable to open up and be themselves.
Callie believes in taking a warm and collaborative approach with clients where they can work together to explore different thoughts and emotions and process life’s challenges as they come up. She strives to create a trusting relationship with clients that is tailored to meet each individual's unique needs and goals. Callie hopes to help clients identify their strengths in a practical way that will allow them to accomplish the goals they have created. She feels that clients have the tools they need to create positive change in their lives, and acts as a guide to help clients gain self-awareness and confidence in themselves.
She understands that mixed emotions can surround the decision to start therapy and it can take a lot of courage to start this process. Therapy can feel overwhelming at first, but it does not have to be! Callie will work with you at your own pace and comfort levels to help make the experience a positive one.
