Hi, I'm Callie. I'm a Mental Health Counseling Intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I strive to create a non-judgmental and safe atmosphere where clients can feel comfortable to open up and be themselves.
I believe in taking a warm and collaborative approach with clients where we can work together to explore different thoughts and emotions and process life’s challenges as they come up. I strive to create a trusting relationship with clients that is tailored to meet each individual's unique needs and goals. My hope is to help clients identify their strengths in a practical way that will allow them to accomplish the goals they have created. I feel that clients have the tools they need to create positive change in their lives, and I act as a guide to help clients gain self-awareness and confidence in themselves.
I understand that mixed emotions can surround the decision to start therapy and it can take a lot of courage to start this process. Therapy can feel overwhelming at first, but it does not have to be! I will work with you at your own pace and comfort levels to help make the experience a positive one.
