My therapeutic approach begins with respect and understanding for your experiences. I strive to create a space where you can openly share your thoughts, feelings, and memories without judgment. I’ll help you learn to approach your inner experiences with greater compassion and kindness. Life is hard enough without adding self-criticism!
Therapy is more than symptom reduction—it’s an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize patterns, and develop compassion for what you’ve been through. I’ll help you slow down, notice what’s happening, step out of reactionary mode, and learn to respond in ways that align with your values and the life you want to create.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and EMDR to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, relationship struggles, and difficult life transitions. I also enjoy working with couples and use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples reconnect and strengthen their relationships.
