Life can be full of challenges and obstacles that leave us feeling overwhelmed and stuck. Our fears and uncertainties can contribute to mental health issues that make it difficult to function well. Through compassion and collaboration, I will help create a safe environment for you to dig deep, identify your goals and strengths, increase self-awareness, and make productive steps towards improving your mental health. As your therapist, I will empower you to utilize coping skills to build resiliency and navigate adversity and stressors outside of therapy. I use a trauma-informed approach that includes EMDR, mindfulness, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, narrative, psychoeducation, and existential techniques to address a range of client concerns. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, therefore I adapt my therapeutic style and interventions to match a client’s needs. I have experience working with adults (18+) with eating disorders, depression, PTSD/trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, mood disorders, addiction, and stress. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Fort Lewis College and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University. I am a graduate-level intern that provides individual counseling in-person and/or via telehealth. Wherever you may be on your journey, I am here to help you harness your power and take action to heal your mental health!
