
I am a devoted mental health professional who has traveled the world. I was raised in a military family and then joined the Army as a Paratrooper Medic. I traveled to 16 countries and every state but 3 during my time with the United States Army. I lived in Europe for 9 years. My background and experience in the military have prepared me to work with a diverse population of individuals.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. I earned a Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Thomas University.
Under the name James Dallas, I authored the book “The Art of Parenting Children with ADHD: Actionable Strategies and Supports So You Can Feel Less Drained and Stop the Self-Blame While Improving Your Child’s Self-Esteem and Academic Performance”. Writing a book has always been a lifelong goal.
I enjoy working with teenagers and adults as well as couples. I work with individuals diagnosed with Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, Adjustment Disorder, and Schizophrenia, as well as other mental health disorders, including ADHD and Autism.
I am a cognitive therapist who utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with additional therapeutic approaches.
