Kristiana Petters

Telehealth - Idaho, Idaho Falls
MFT-I

I am a graduate student in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, and I earned my bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from Brigham Young University in 2014.

Through my graduate training, I have been prepared to work with a diverse range of clients, including multicultural individuals, couples, families, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

In therapy, I primarily draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), approaches that allow me to support clients with depth, empathy, and creativity. As a creative at heart, I love incorporating art and imaginative expression into the therapy space, helping to foster a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment where every person can feel truly seen and supported.

I am especially passionate about working with couples at all stages of their journey—whether engaged, newly married, navigating separation, or healing after divorce—as well as with new parents and those facing challenges related to sexuality and shame. Additionally, I have a deep commitment to supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and grief.

Outside of my work, you’ll often find me reading, painting, writing, and spending time with my loved ones.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey. Let’s connect!
