I am a second-year Master of Social Work candidate and clinical intern with experience supporting individuals navigating grief, trauma, and court-mandated treatment. I understand that coming to counseling can feel overwhelming or uncertain. Because of this, I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and free of judgment, where clients can show up as they are.
I have a strong background in grief work, including facilitating school-based grief groups for adolescents. This work has been especially meaningful to me and has shaped how I support others through loss. I believe that grief is a deeply personal experience, and I approach each client with compassion, patience, and care as they make sense of their own journey.
My clinical approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with parts work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). I focus on helping clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, build practical coping skills, and develop a stronger sense of self. I also take a trauma-informed approach, recognizing how past experiences can shape the present.
I value connection and collaboration. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside them, offering support, curiosity, and guidance along the way. My goal is to help individuals feel more grounded, understood, and empowered as they move forward.
