Hello! I’m Laura. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Washington state, based in Bothell. My therapy style centers on collaboration. Together, we can identify your desired goals and work to achieve meaningful change in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. What goals are you ready to work toward now?

Whether you are facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship dynamics, or life transitions, I am here to support you in overcoming obstacles and reclaim a sense of empowerment and balance. My journey into this field stems from a desire to partner with others in enhancing their self-awareness, strengthening their capacities, and building the lives they truly desire. Currently, I am seeing adults, couples, and adolescents.

In my practice, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and mindfulness techniques. The influence of the body's nervous system on mental health is sometimes overlooked, which is why I believe integrating both the mind–thoughts and emotions–AND the body into therapy can be so valuable. I have experience working across various settings, including primary and secondary schools, addiction services, and outpatient mental health therapy services. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska and am licensed in Washington State.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, drawing, working on puzzles, and being outside!

I understand that starting therapy can feel scary, and I honor the courage it takes to take that first step. Whether in-person at our Bothell office or remotely in Washington, I offer a welcoming space to explore what your growth journey looks like.
