Manina is completing her Master of Social Work degree at Utah Valley University, having earned her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. She works with a wide range of clients and particularly enjoys supporting teens, young adults, women, men, and couples navigating depression, anxiety, body image concerns, marital challenges, and life transitions.
Manina believes every person brings their own story, strengths, and capacity for change into the therapy room. Her approach draws from multiple evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), always adapting to what fits best for each individual. She takes a strengths-based, lifespan perspective, meeting clients wherever they are in their journey.
Above all, Manina is committed to creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard and safe enough to do real work. She knows that asking for help takes courage, and she doesn't take that lightly.
Growing up in Alaska gave Manina a deep love of the outdoors and an appreciation for resilience, both of which naturally carry into her work with clients. Outside of the office, she stays active, prioritizes her health and fitness, and cherishes time with her husband and their six kids.
