I'm completing my Master of Social Work degree at Utah Valley University, having earned my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. I work with a wide range of clients and particularly enjoy supporting teens, young adults, women, men, and couples navigating depression, anxiety, body image concerns, marital challenges, and life transitions.
I believe every person brings their own story, strengths, and capacity for change into the therapy room. My approach draws from multiple evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), always adapting to what fits best for each individual. I take a strengths-based, lifespan perspective, meeting clients wherever they are in their journey.
Above all, I am committed to creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard and safe enough to do real work. I know that asking for help takes courage, and I don't take that lightly.
Growing up in Alaska gave me a deep love of the outdoors and an appreciation for resilience, both of which naturally carry into my work with clients. Outside of the office, I stay active, prioritize my health and fitness, and cherish time with my husband and our six kids.
