CSW

Hi there, I’m Rachel, a Certified Social Worker (CSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah and a certificate in Women’s Health. My background includes specialized training in the many dimensions of women’s health. I also have experience supporting individuals of all genders, ages, and backgrounds through various mental health challenges.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University. For ten years, I worked closely with teenagers with learning disorders. As part of my master’s program, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, from young children to older adults, and have developed a strong focus on helping children and families navigate behavioral challenges, trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, grief, and other life transitions.

In therapy, I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed practices, Family and Couples Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Each person’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals.

As a therapist, I am positive and supportive as I create a space with you to support healing, growth, and connection. My goal is to empower you to become the best version of yourself while supporting you in building stronger, healthier relationships in your family, friends, and community.
