Solution-Focused Therapy
A short-term, goal-oriented approach that focuses on what is already working and on building practical next steps.
Solution-Focused Therapy is a brief, goal-oriented approach. Rather than spending a long time in the problem, the therapist helps the client identify times when things are already going better—even slightly—and explores what is different in those moments. From there, the work is to build small, doable next steps toward the client's preferred future.
