Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a mental health professional with a master's degree in social work and clinical licensure.

LCSW stands for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. An LCSW has a master's degree in social work, has completed supervised clinical training, and is licensed by their state to provide therapy. Many LCSWs also bring a strong systems perspective to their work, looking at how a person's environment and relationships shape well-being.
