TMS, or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses magnetic fields to stimulate specific areas of the brain. It is sometimes used as part of treatment for depression and certain other conditions. TMS is delivered in medical settings by trained providers; counseling can complement that medical care but does not replace it.
