Grief

The natural emotional and physical response to a loss, which can take many forms and last different amounts of time.

Grief is the natural response to loss. It can include sadness, anger, numbness, relief, guilt, longing, and many other feelings, often layered together. Grief is not a tidy timeline; waves can return long after a loss and on important dates. Counseling can offer steady support without rushing the process.
